We received a call about a miising greyhound and need help in this area for searchers.

Female brindle greyhound. Thelma is a friendly greyhound, she will go up to people. Gate in backyard was left open and Thelma got loose Wednesday evening. She does not have on a collar and I don't think she is chipped.

Ann Turner is contact for suggestions and information. She is located in Florida. She is joining this board for a quick schooling on lost greyhounds. She can be reached at 904-221-5464 and cell 904-422-1961.

Owners have neighbors helping with search. Area has neighborhoods but lots of wooded area as well. I have requested they contact animal control and all vets in the area and to print the flyer from Greytalk and put it everywhere. If you are near this area and are available to search please contact Ann or Penny. I am contacting TGS to see if they know of people who are closer to Clinton.

Clinton is off Hwy 40 near Fayetteville and not too far from Jacksonville. Send good wishes that Thelma is found quickly.

I will be praying for a good resolve to this lost Greyhound.

I plan to go down when I get off work Friday and should be there be approx. 2:30pm.
I will have flyers printed in both english and spanish with me, plus sheet protectors and maps.
I will poster along Reedsford Rd and any nearby businesses, whatever I can do before dark.
I have instructed owner to have a box on their porch where I can leave additional posters for other searchers.
Other searchers: please leave info in the box regarding where you have hung posters or passed out flyers.

Ducky called to tell me that Selma has been found.
She was found fairly close to her home. She has a broken leg and was on her way to the vet around noon to one oclock.

What greyt news.

I just checked Greytalk and they are thinking that the leg isn't broken but her tail may have to be amputated. When they called Penny, the owner she was on her way to the Evet to check on her. MIL took Selma earlier today when she was found.

Hooray for getting home Selma. Now we will keep praying that your injuries are small and that you recover quickly.
