Greyhound Friends mission is to rescue retired, racing Greyhounds, provide for their health and welfare, educate the public
about the availability and desirability of greyhounds as pets and place them through adoption into loving homes.

We are a no-kill rescue group and will take any greyhound returned by his
owner.
We currently have several dogs that were part of the Melbourne track
closing as well as several with unexpected medical bills.
One greyhound had an adverse reaction to her spaying surgery and
needed additional surgery to survive.
Another greyhound was diagnosed with Immune Mediated Hemolytic
Anemia and requires medication.
All donations are used to provide for the care of the retired greyhounds.
