Lost grey, Huntersville, NC. Any of you see this on GT??

She's been loose since 8-13, this just posted today. They claim to not have had much support from their group in a search but don't say where they adopted from. They have been flyering, the contact person is Mary Prather at 919-614-3070. Hope it's a happy ending!!

I just read about this on Greytalk. I don't think anyone in GFNC-Charlotte knew about it. I will contact Mary and try to help in the search. It has been so hot here. This can't be good for this little girl.

I have called Mary and I am helping remotely from Home as I am still on vacation til tomorrow.

great dane rescue in Huntersville and left a message for them.

the charlotte humane society
and am working on calling the CMPD animal control as well.

We're in the Huntersville area rather regularly and live not far away in north Charlotte. Would be happy to help and will keep our eyes open. Let's hope someone finds this lost pup soon.
Wonder who at GFNC was not helpful??? What a shame. The owners just spoke to the wrong person, as I know many local GFNC folks are "searchers extraordinare".

We will meet at 9am at the Huntersville Square Shopping Center on Statesville Road.

Take I-77 to exit 23
if you are going North on I-77 turn right off exit ramp
if you are going South on I-77 turn left off exit ramp
Turn left onto Hwy 21-Statesville Road
Turn right into the Huntersville Square Shopping Center
Meet in the lot near the entrance

If you have a local area map bring it. Also bring tape and/or stapler to put up flyers. We will run off copies of the flyer on bright paper. If you can also make additional copies email and I will send flyer to you. The dog does not have a collar on so bring a collar , leash and treats.

Thanks for pointing out that the owner did not include group info.; however on Greytalk, Blanche mentioned that this was a GFNC-adopted dog. Doesn't really matter, but just wanted you to know I didn't make that up. (BTW, my greyhounds are from GFNC).

Just got back from my neighbors and they had seen an add in the Charlotte Observer dated 8/21 for Freckles. The add reads:

"Lost- 8/13 Greyhound Female named Freckles Tan & black 6 yrs old Stumptown Rd. Between route 21 & 115, Huntersville, REWARD!! 704-948-7478."

was kind of suprised to see this -

I hope we find Freckles - poor baby girl.....she must be so scared.

I have a suspicion on who spread that rumor.
We all know better than that!
