Thanks for the replies- things have taken an interesting turn- my vet
was doing some research and was taking to the vets a Hills Science
as far as what dietary things could be done. We have switched to a diet
very high in essent fatty acids the Science Diet J/D diet but the vets at
Hills had seen several case reports of a SLO like syndrome 4-6 wks
post vaccinations... as fate would have it Milo was exactly 4 wks out
from his shots! His nails have stabilized he lost a total of 8 but none in
the last 2 wks. If it stops here we will just stay with the diet if not we'll start other SLO therapy. Dottie and old gnarly toes Milo
