Ok- as most of you know - the melbourne track has closed for the season-the kennel is getting approx 10 -12 dogs this saturday and I want to do my part and help them out by being there to help. I am making a run to the kennel to help with turnout, bathing the dogs, petting them, feeding them and doing whatever I can to help out. So if you have anything that you want to donate to the kennel, blankets, detergent, water, empty printer ink anything at all, let me know and I will be more then happy to take it up there. The Blazer is BIG and is willing to take stuff.
Thanks

Hi Amy, I'll see you there bright and early! Dancing
We get two hounds for TGS, a black girl that is timid and a fawn male that gives kisses. Very Happy
We just had a bunch of beach towels donated and I'll bring some over, I'm sure they come in handy for bathing hounds!

Thanks for the reminder, I have a few empty printer cartridges that I can bring! I'll check the recycling box here in the office for more.

Randy said they can always use cleaning supplies. He said only lemon scented lysol and cleaner.
And office supplies. Envelopes, stamps, copy paper etc.
Probably shampoo, too. What kind do you usually use at the kennel? Is regular baby shampoo fine?

From the GFNC website:
First Aid Supplies - gauze pads, vet wrap, adhesive tape, triple antibiotic
Cleaning supplies - washing detergent and Odo Ban Disinfectant, Pooper Scoopers
Office supplies - copy paper, postage stamps, 9x12 kraft envelopes for mailing or shipping

I got copy paper from Sam's club tonight. and several of my coworkers have been giving me their empty ink cartridges once they find out that that they are going to help the doggies.

I think we have puppy shampoo around here somewhere, that i will look for (that is unopened) and I am doing a pickup of dogfood and bleach tomorrow.

Hi Amy, I have an extra 40lb bag Canidae dry food & some canned food and I'd be happy to donate them if you need food for the dogs. (I over-ordered last month and don't have a lot of storage). Let me know if you want it Smile Thanks!
