Just an FYI ---I have to be out of town the weekend of the 28th so there will be no Steele Creek M & G this month. See you all August 25th!

Bonnie

You break Maddie's heart- she was so looking forward to the M&G this month and we can't make the August M&G as well as she is going to see Grammy and Grampy then. Have fun on on the 28th.

Bullet and I send our apologies --we were looking forward to seeing her again too! Have fun in August! Does Maddie's grandparents spoil her rotten? My parents are worse than me at spoiling Bullet sometimes!! Rolling Eyes

If the Steele Creek Meet and Greet dogs need an outing on July 28 they are welcome to join us for pet therapy at Mecklenburg Health Care Center:

Fourth Saturday of every month, 10:30-11:30a.m - Mecklenburg Health Care Center. 2415 Sandy Porter Rd, Charlotte, NC.

Sandy Porter Road is off Highway 49, one block from the play group location. MHCC is the second left on Sandy Porter Rd, just behind Food Lion. All are welcome to join us. If it is your first pet therapy visit to this facility please bring proof of rabies vaccination.

Thanks,
Karen Ferguson

Karen,
Harley said he would like to try that Very Happy . Does he not need some kind of certification? I took him to PetSmart last week, without Chance, and he was a perfect gentleman.
Let me know if he is ok and I will get with you about directions.
Claire

Hi Claire, Roy and all. None of the pet therapy locations that I visit require certification, yet. Harley and other newcomers are welcome to join us. You need to bring proof of rabies vaccination.

Mecklenburg Health Care Center is one block towards Charlotte from the Continental play group location. Coming from Contintental, make the first left on to Sandy Porter Rd and turn left into the second parking lot. We are there every fourth Saturday of the month from 10:30-11:30am.

New dogs proceed at their own pace. Some take to it right away, others hold back at first. Lots of strange sights and smells in a nursing home. Pet therapy does not work unless the dogs like doing it. We don't push.

Contact me if you have questions.

Bonnie - we would be doing the 7/28 Saturday if that is okay? If anyone else wants to come and play with Ritter he would love the company. Maddie will you be able to come?

Great! Thank you very much, Desta & Ritter! Just let me know when a good time would be to drop the stuff off --I'm leaving Friday for Charleston and will be back on Sun, then I'm leaving for NY that Monday the 23rd. (Desta--sorry for the dual messages here and PM, but my PM messages don't always get to where I'm sending them (?) ). Thanks again! Here's my home email
